Traditional Walking Sticks

Not All Who Wander Are Lost

This is the type of walking stick most people have in mind when they think of a walking stick or hiking staff. My great grandmother Booth often walked from her house for nearly a mile on the trail in the woods to the mailbox and she always used her Sassafraas walking stick, because she never knew just what she could run onto in the woods.  She used the walking stick for support, comfort, and protection.

The sticks are cut in coldest days of winter and allowed to dry in the barn loft for nearly two years, before being made into Traditional Walking Sticks.  Each walking stick or cane can be sized to fit each person's needs.
