These "Wooden Pocket Knives" were made
by hand. Each knife functions just like the original pocket knife that my
grandfather carried for so many years.
The blades, handles, back springs, pins, etc.. are
made one piece at a time from wood, then carefully assembled into a complete knife.
The detail is amazing! The blades open and close.
Each knife takes just over sixteen hours to
complete from the rough block of wood.
The blades open and close just like the knife your
dad may have carried.
If you know someone who carries a pocket knife, I'm
sure they would appreciate one of these.
The pictures below display
four samples of the
knives, but the actual knife looks much better.
Are you are interested in ordering one of these
special knives? Each knife is only $60.
This is truly a one of a kind gift for someone who
likes unique handmade art.
This is a picture
of my great grand-mother Stella Booth's family. They enjoyed playing
mountain music. The old house burned down when my mother was a little girl.
Evenings were spent sitting on the porch playing music.
